The Laughing Legend
The famous Clacton clown has been laughing with thousands of holidaymakers at the entrance to the Clacton Pavilion over his many years on duty. Fans of a certain classic seaside sitcom may also recognize him from his starring role in the pilot episode—standing tall as the gatekeeper of a Crimpton-on-Sea holiday camp.

The Crimpton-on-Sea collection began with a sketch of the iconic clown who I remember being situated outside the Clacton Pavilion - he also featured in the pilot of a locally filmed TV show! By recreating these icons, I hope to keep the spirit of our local heritage alive. Every piece I create is a nod to the nostalgia, the humour, and the unique character of the places we call home."
