Dr Feelgood bottle opener
The band was formed in Canvey Island in 1971 by Wilko Johnson, Lee Brilleaux and John B. Sparks, who had all been members of existing R&B bands, and soon added drummer John Martin.
They took their name from a 1962 record called “Dr. Feel-Good” which was covered by several British beat groups in the 60s.
Known for their high energy performances, by late 1973 they had established themselves as one of the most popular bands on the growing London pub rock circuit. Their breakthrough album ‘Stupidity’ reached Number 1 in the UK Albums chart!
Several line up changes later, the band continue to tour.
Our bottle openers are magnetic and you can keep them next to the cold ones on the fridge.
Presented on an Oh My Naze! backing card.
