Highfield Holiday Park - Weasel Club T-shirt

The Weasel Club - like the Penguin and Wagtails clubs from neighbouring caravan and holiday parks, was exclusively for children!  

Its membership granted entry to all the fun things to do on site!

Highfield had a lot to offer kids over the years, amusements, swimming pools,  sports field, tuck shop, play park with a fort, a zipwire, a fire engine, a witches hat, and slides etc, plus competitions and entertainment!

Some of the most popular entertainers to grace the various venues over the years were: Arthur Guitar - who doubled as the entertainments manager, the Beany Duo, the Len Ebbage Showband, Trinity, Vic Morgan on his organ, Patchez, The Tartan Showband, Alvis & O'Dell, Tubby "King of the Kids" Saunders, Jasper, and various visiting celebrities.  There were also discos such as Superfly and even Punch and Judy!

The resort was renamed Highfield Grange, when it was taken over by Park Resorts - who have a great range of modern souvenirs available in their gift shops. Here at Oh My Naze! we like to focus on the good old days of Highfield.
