Shangri-La Caravan Park keyring
The Shangri-La Caravan Park was sited in Colchester Road, St Osyth, on the site of the now Oaklands Holiday Park.
Do you remember the Shangri-La bus that used to be on site?
The Shangri-La club house was first licenced under: Dorothy Taylor 1957-1960, and Stanley H. Hiller 1961 - 1962.
Stanley H. Hiller also registered the site under the Permits Issued for Amusements with Prizes under Betting and Gaming Act, 1960 in 1961.
It now caters solely to holiday homeowners who have exclusive use of the many caravan park facilities including family bars and restaurants, holiday park entertainment, onsite fishing facilities and more - with a longer open season than many commercial holidays parks.
