Everyone knows they are in Walton when they see this sign! It's become a bit of a Walton institution - recently renovated and reinstated.
Originally designed to be installed at the approach to the town by Walton's Chamber of Commerce - there was some opposition by the council, who thought it "cheap, loud and presumptuous". The additional photos show the original news article and sign displayed in a window for the public's consideration.
The new version of this sign has been designed by Oh My Naze! based on the more modern version of the sign of the 80s/90s/00s.
There is another version of the sign known as "My Hat Some Sand" that is also much loved.
This high quality aluminium rust-proof and fade-proof sign, comes in two sizes, and will look great on any internal, garden or garage wall.:
- 200 x 290 mm (A4 approx)
- 283 x 405 mm (A3 approx)
Available both with and without screw holes - giving you the choice to either use mastic sealant, or secure with aluminium (rust proof) screws, which are NOT supplied.
